Marion Lalisse,
Marion Lisse has been the European Commission Coordinator on combating anti-Muslim hatred since 1 February 2023. She graduated from the School of Oriental and African Studies (University of London), the College of Europe, and the University of Toulouse Le Mirail. An EU civil servant, she has experience in working closely with a wide range of civil society organisations, state actors, and international organisations inside the EU and in the Muslim world.
Tanja Florath,
Since 2016, Tanja Florath has been employed by the German Federal Ministry for Family Affairs, Senior Citizens, Women and Youth, mainly working on refugee assistance, integration, and prevention of xenophobia. In September 2023, she was seconded as a national expert to the European Commission. At the European Commission, Works as a Policy Officer for the EU Anti-racism Coordinator. She is the liaison officer for Member States’ delegates tackling racism on the national level. Her focus lies on racism and law enforcement, migration, and security. Tanja has vast experience in the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms, having worked in the academic setting, for public institutions, and with civil society organisations. She holds a Master of Laws in Peace Support Operations, International Humanitarian Law and Conflict from the Irish Centre for Human Rights, National University of Ireland (Galway).
