Dr. Michael Wiener
Human Rights Officer, Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR)
Dr. Michael Wiener has been working at the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights since 2006. He also co-organized the expert workshops that led to the Rabat Plan of Action, which prohibits the advocacy of national, racial, or religious hatred that constitutes incitement to discrimination, hostility, or violence. Since 2017, he has been working on the design and implementation of the Beirut Declaration and its 18 commitments on “Faith for Rights”.
